So, as many of you know, I will be going abroad next semester to Avignon in the south of France. It's about 360 miles south of Paris and about 53 miles north-ish of Marseille. It's famous for its Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes) and it'
s Pont d'Avignon (bridge of Avignon), where people like to dance apparently.I'm very excited to be going. I leave on the 9th of January and return on the 30th of April. (Just getting this information out of the way.) I'll be living with a Madame de Stasi and her young son who live in the city walls and only ten minutes from the university. All my classes will be in French. (Scary!)
This blog will be more interesting as the time to leave nears.
Next on list of things to do:
1. Finish finals
2. Get a visa (this step is crucial!)
